Lash Care 101

The Foundation of Great Lashes

Congratulations on your new lash extensions! Whether you opted for a classic, hybrid, or full volume set, proper aftercare is the absolute key to maintaining their flawless appearance and protecting the health of your natural lashes.

1. The 24-Hour Rule

For the first 24 hours after your appointment, keep your lashes completely dry. This means no showers, no saunas, no heavy workouts, and definitely no crying during sad movies. The adhesive needs this crucial window to fully cure and bond with your natural lash.

2. Cleansing is Non-Negotiable

Many people believe they shouldn't wash their lashes, but this is a massive myth! Use a specialized, oil-free lash cleanser and a soft cleansing brush every single day. Gently work the foam through your lash line to remove makeup residue, natural oils, and dead skin cells. Clean lashes are happy lashes—and the adhesive holds much better to a clean surface.

3. Ditch the Oil

Oil is the arch-nemesis of lash adhesive. Check your makeup removers, facial cleansers, moisturizers, and even your foundation. If any of them contain oil, keep them far away from your eye area. The oil will rapidly break down the glue, causing premature shedding.

4. Brush Daily

Keep the clean mascara wand (spoolie) your artist gave you handy. Gently brush your lashes every morning and after they get wet (once dry). This keeps them fluffy, removes tangles, and prevents them from criss-crossing.

Remember, if you ever experience itching, redness, or discomfort, don't try to pull the lashes off yourself—contact the salon for a safe, professional removal!
